I’m Catherine

I have been a certified professional groomer for over 18 years. After graduating college with a marketing degree, I trained at the Academy of Dog Grooming Arts in Chicago. From there I grew my experience in a variety of businesses, including pet boutiques, pet resorts, and pet salons. Most recently, I led Camp Bow Wow's grooming team, voted best in the state of Delaware for five years in a row. My continuing education includes certifications in canine behavior, skin and coat wellness, breed specific grooming, and canine CPR/First Aid. To me, grooming isn't just grooming, it's about developing a relationship and building trust with my clients (human and canine). Frequent interactions with my clients allows me to apply my extensive experience and education to help develop a holistic approach to the health and wellness of each dog. I have long dreamt of starting my own business, and a recent cross-country move to the beautiful town of Pagosa Springs afforded me the opportunity to realize that dream. I value my clients and look forward to working one-on-one to develop the best grooming and wellness plan for their beloved dogs.
